PU Recognizes Prof. Abdallah Lyzzaik with Teaching Excellence Award
Prof. Abdallah Lyzzaik, distinguished professor of Mathematics at Phoenicia University, was awarded the Teaching Excellence Certificate during the University’s 2025 Graduation Ceremony. The award recognizes his long-standing commitment to academic excellence and his dedication to enhancing students’ learning experiences.
Prof. Lyzzaik, who holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio, is a distinguished scholar whose career spans more than four decades of teaching and research. Since joining Phoenicia University at its founding, he has been a pillar of our academic community. His teaching expertise covers a wide range of courses, from university calculus and advanced calculus to linear algebra, numerical methods, and discrete mathematics. In every classroom, he brings a wealth of knowledge, clarity, and wisdom that inspires generations of students.
With over 50 peer-reviewed publications in the fields of complex analysis and harmonic mappings, Prof. Lyzzaik is internationally recognized for his contributions to mathematics. Beyond his academic achievements, he is admired as a mentor and fatherly figure, deeply respected by colleagues and beloved by students.
