New Publication by Dr. Mohammad Rahhal on Landslide Probability Framework

Dr. Mohammad Rahal, Coordinator of the Civil and Environmental Engineering Program at Phoenicia University, is the first author of a recently published research paper titled “A Probabilistic Framework for Estimating Landslide Probability Using Major Triggering Factors.”

The study was among only ten papers selected for publication from numerous works presented at the 14th International Conference on Earthquake Resistant Engineering Structures (ERES 2025), held in Edinburgh.

Dr. Rahal’s research presents a probabilistic framework for estimating landslide probability, expanding upon previous studies and contributing valuable insights to the field of geotechnical and environmental engineering.

The paper appears as the first entry in Volume 217 of WIT Transactions on the Built Environment, a journal indexed in major academic databases, including Scopus.
