“Run for Your Heart”: A Collaborative Campaign by the Public Health Society and Athletics Department to Promote Heart Health

The Public Health community, in collaboration with the Athletics Department and the College of Public Health, organized “Run for Your Heart” — an awareness campaign aimed at promoting heart health and encouraging an active lifestyle among students, faculty, and staff.

The event featured a short run and an awareness booth that showcased simple, practical ways to maintain a healthy heart through regular exercise, balanced nutrition, and routine check-ups. The campaign created an opportunity for the Phoenicia University community to come together in support of wellness, prevention, and healthy living.

“Run for Your Heart” was organized as part of the World Heart Day initiative, reinforcing the importance of cardiovascular awareness and preventive care. The campaign reflected the College of Public Health’s mission to foster wellness and community engagement through student-led initiatives that inspire healthier choices and active living across the PU campus.
