Dr. Mageda Sharafeddin Meets New Computer Science Students
Dr. Mageda Sharafeddin, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, held a meeting with new Computer Science students to introduce them to the college’s environment and its many student-driven initiatives.
During the session, Dr. Sharafeddin highlighted the opportunities available for students to engage beyond the classroom — including research projects, student societies, hackathons, and community initiatives that promote creativity and teamwork. She emphasized the importance of active student engagement, encouraging students to communicate openly, participate in college events, and make use of the resources provided by faculty and peers.
