Speech Therapy Society and Public Health Society Host “Sukoon” for National Stress Awareness Day

In recognition of National Stress Awareness Day, the Speech Therapy Society, in collaboration with the Public Health Society, organized “Sukoon” — a mindful event designed to help students pause, breathe, and reconnect with a sense of inner calm.

The activity featured three immersive wellness corners, each offering a different way to unwind and express emotions:

  • Painting Corner – a space to express through color and creativity
  • Journaling Corner – a quiet area to release thoughts and reflect
  • Reading Corner – a peaceful spot to relax with words and stillness

“Sukoon” encouraged students to take a moment for themselves, prioritize their mental well-being, and acknowledge the importance of self-care during busy academic periods.
