ASCE Student Chapter Hosts Guest Seminar “No Leaps, Just Steps”

The ASCE Student Chapter at Phoenicia University, in collaboration with the College of Engineering and fellow engineering societies, organized a guest seminar titled “No Leaps, Just Steps,” delivered by Mr. Elia Yasmine, MSc. The event was held at the University Auditorium and welcomed engineering students from various disciplines.

During the seminar, Mr. Yasmine shared key milestones from his professional journey, linking his experiences to the current stage of undergraduate engineering studies. Drawing on real-life examples from his career, he offered practical insights and guidance to help students better understand the transition from academic life to the professional world. His talk provided students with a realistic perspective on career development and the importance of steady growth and continuous learning.

At the conclusion of the event, the ASCE Student Chapter, on behalf of the College of Engineering, presented a token of appreciation to Mr. Yasmine in recognition of his valuable contribution. In addition, Dr. Mohammad Rahal was honored with a token of appreciation for his continuous efforts and dedication in guiding Civil and Environmental Engineering students over the years.
