College of Business Introduces New Advising & Mentoring Program

On September 24, 2025, the College of Business held a Discovery Session to introduce first-year students to the Navigator Advising and Mentoring Program. The program connects first-year business students with faculty and senior student mentors, and it is open to every incoming student. It aims to boost student engagement and share knowledge and experience within the College community. 

During the session, Dr. Ahmad Hijazi, Dean of the College of Business, and student mentors Dana Al Safawi, Lana Barake and Mohamad Kandil presented the program’s values and academic goals, talked about studying Business Administration at Phoenicia University, answered students’ questions and welcomed them into the program. The University Diversity Officer (UDO) also met with the mentors to discuss how to support students from underrepresented groups, and continues to give them one-to-one guidance on supporting the students they work with.
