Distribution of Campus-Grown Produce 

Phoenicia University cultivates and distributes seasonal agricultural produce — including olive oil and avocados — grown using University resources and land, reflecting its ongoing commitment to sustainability and community support. The University's campus includes 9 green spaces home to approximately 1,000 avocado trees and 200 olive trees, forming the basis of this ongoing agricultural initiative.

This initiative demonstrates how sustainable, locally sourced farming can be integrated into everyday institutional practice, while reducing reliance on external supply chains.

The collected produce is distributed to university staff and lower-income members of the surrounding community, helping to improve access to basic food resources. Beyond its immediate impact, the program showcases the practical value of sustainable, locally produced goods and reinforces PU's role as an active, engaged member of the community it serves.
