Engineering Week Wrap Up
In celebration of Engineering Week, that took place from April 24 to 28, the College of Engineering organized a series of interactive and educational activities to shed light on engineer’s contributions in making our world a better place. The event was very-well attended by students, staff and faculty members who also engaged in hands-on activities related to issues in engineering.
Kickoff day on Monday featured an opening ceremony. On Wednesday, Engineering and Public Health students participated in a debate titled “Engineering Technology in Healthcare.” The judging panel chose the Engineering students as winners. Thursday was the much awaited election day! Two candidates, Leila Maanna and Rola Ibrahim, were running for the Society of Engineering’s presidency. Leila Maanna was elected as the new president.
Engineering Week was a great success. We look forward for next year’s event!
