Forensic Psychology Between the Mind and Crime: An Interdisciplinary Dialogue at Phoenicia University
The Law Society at Phoenicia University organized a session titled “Forensic Psychology: Between the Mind and Crime – A Psychological and Legal Approach,” bringing together Lawyer Kamel Safa and forensic psychologist Ghena Ismail.
The session was hosted by law student Zainab Al Ashkar and explored the psychological motives underlying criminal behavior and the ways in which legal systems respond to offenders with mental disorders.
The event encouraged discussion around real-life scenarios and emphasized the importance of integrating forensic psychology with legal analysis in understanding criminal behavior and responsibility.
