GET HIRED Series 

Launched on 30 November 2023, GET HIRED is a career development initiative organized by Phoenicia University’s Career Center and made available to students and members of the public. The series is designed to enhance participants’ employability skills by providing targeted training and practical guidance to support their preparation for the workforce and improve their ability to successfully navigate recruitment processes.  

The initiative includes specialized training sessions delivered by Dr. Rima Shaar, covering key areas of career preparation, including CV writing, cover letter development, and interview skills. The CV Writing and Cover Letter Training sessions focus on developing participants’ ability to prepare professional application materials, effectively showcase their qualifications, and tailor their resumes and cover letters to align with specific career opportunities.  

The Interview Training sessions provide participants with practical strategies to strengthen their interview performance, including effective communication techniques, professional presentation skills, and methods for responding confidently to interview questions. Through interactive workshops, discussions, demonstrations, and personalized feedback, participants gain valuable insights into employer expectations and recruitment practices.  

Through the GET HIRED series, PU supports career readiness and professional development by equipping participants with essential skills and knowledge to enhance their employment prospects and confidently pursue career opportunities.
