Phoenicia University Marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month with an Inspiring Talk by Ms. Hala Al Masri

Phoenicia University is committed to promoting health education, raising awareness of women’s health issues, and encouraging informed health decisions within the University and the wider community.

As part of this commitment, PU marked Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October through its annual free educational event, open to students, faculty, staff, and members of the local community. The session featured Ms. Hala Al Masri, a two-time breast cancer survivor and founder of Healing Hope, who shared her personal experience to educate participants about breast cancer, the importance of early detection, regular medical checkups, and timely medical consultation.

The event also highlighted the value of reliable health information, proactive health practices, and emotional support for individuals affected by breast cancer. Through Ms. Al Masri’s inspiring story, participants were reminded that awareness can save lives, early action matters, and compassion can make a meaningful difference.
