PU Christmas Market

Phoenicia University closed the semester with its annual Christmas Market, held on 21 December 2023, as part of a continuous community support programme delivered through recurring student-led and university-coordinated initiatives. The event brought the campus community together for a celebration that directly channels resources toward those in need.

Throughout the market, PU clubs and societies organized food booths, merchandise stalls, and interactive activities, creating a lively, welcoming atmosphere across campus. Beyond the celebration, the market carried a deeper purpose: all proceeds were channeled directly toward supporting displaced families and individuals, providing food and essential non-food supplies to those facing poverty and displacement. As an annual initiative, the market's proceeds have benefited an estimated 1,200 to 1,500 individuals to date.

As one recurring component of Phoenicia University's broader programme of direct community support, the Christmas Market reflects the university's commitment to improving access to basic services for vulnerable populations.
