PU Students Take Part in the National Youth Policy Symposium

On 5 and 6 August 2025, Phoenicia University students took part in the National Youth Policy Symposium, hosted by ABAAD MENA and the Adyan Foundation in collaboration with ARDD (Jordan). The symposium brought together students from several Lebanese universities. PU was represented by nine students from the Law Society and the Women Empowerment Club, including seven female students.

On the first day, the PU students presented the university’s achievements over the years, including its activities, events, educational initiatives, and community engagement. They also attended presentations by students from other universities, exchanging ideas and learning about each institution’s experiences.

On the second day, students joined interactive activities led by the organizers. Distinguished guests, including government officials, journalists, and public figures, spoke about political participation, civic engagement, leadership, and the importance of youth involvement in public life. Delivered through an inclusive, gender-sensitive lens, the program included discussions, networking sessions, and collaborative activities in which the students engaged directly with the speakers, building awareness of political participation and active citizenship.
