PU Hosts Professional Development Workshop on “Customer Service in Education”
Phoenicia University organized a professional development workshop for staff titled “Customer Service in Education,” facilitated by Dr. Ahmad Hijazi. The session brought together more than 50 staff members from various departments.
The workshop focused on enhancing staff communication competencies, particularly in their interactions with students, parents, and colleagues. Through discussions and practical exercises, participants explored key principles of customer service in educational settings, including active listening, efficient inquiry management, and the creation of positive stakeholder experiences.
The session also emphasized the importance of collaboration, empathy, and professionalism in fostering a supportive workplace culture. Staff members exchanged experiences, reflected on challenges, and discussed best practices for integrating improved communication strategies into their daily roles.
